Cancellation Policy

Last Updated: September 2026

W.I.S.E – Workshop for Innovation and Scientific Experiments is committed to maintaining a transparent and fair process for donations, registrations, workshops, events, and other activities conducted through our website, www.ngowise.com.

This Cancellation Policy explains the circumstances under which a donation, registration, or participation request may be cancelled.

1. Donation Cancellation

Donations made to W.I.S.E are generally considered voluntary and final once the payment has been successfully completed.

If a donation has been made accidentally, duplicated, or with an incorrect amount, the donor may contact us immediately with the relevant transaction details.

Cancellation or reversal of a donation will be considered on a case-by-case basis, subject to verification and applicable payment gateway or banking procedures.

2. Event and Workshop Registration Cancellation

If you have registered for a W.I.S.E workshop, awareness program, training session, event, or other activity and wish to cancel your participation, please inform us as early as possible.

Cancellation requests should include:

  • Participant name

  • Registered email address or phone number

  • Name of the event or workshop

  • Registration or transaction details, if applicable

  • Reason for cancellation

Any refund eligibility for paid registrations will depend on the specific event, timing of cancellation, and expenses already incurred by W.I.S.E.

3. Volunteer or Program Participation Cancellation

Volunteers or participants who are unable to attend a scheduled activity are requested to notify W.I.S.E in advance.

This helps us manage resources, schedules, beneficiary activities, and volunteer assignments effectively.

There is generally no financial cancellation involved for unpaid volunteer participation.

4. Cancellation by W.I.S.E

W.I.S.E reserves the right to cancel, postpone, reschedule, or modify any event, workshop, program, training session, or activity due to circumstances such as:

  • Insufficient registrations

  • Safety concerns

  • Weather conditions

  • Venue-related issues

  • Government restrictions

  • Operational difficulties

  • Unforeseen circumstances beyond our control

Where a paid event or activity is cancelled by W.I.S.E, eligible participants will be informed about available alternatives, rescheduling, or refund options.

5. Cancellation of Online Payments

If a payment transaction fails, is interrupted, or is cancelled before successful completion, no confirmed donation or registration will be recorded.

If the amount has been debited from your bank account but confirmation has not been received, please contact us with the transaction details.

We may need to coordinate with the relevant bank, UPI service, or payment gateway before confirming the transaction status.

6. Processing of Cancellation Requests

Cancellation requests will be reviewed after verifying the relevant details.

Where applicable, approved cancellations or refunds may take several business days to be reflected, depending on the payment method, bank, or payment service provider.

Any payment gateway or transaction charges that have already been deducted may not always be refundable.
