Our History

Established in 2013, NGO W.I.S.E (Workshop for Innovation and Scientific Experiments) was born out of a powerful vision—to eradicate poverty through education, empowerment, and compassion. The organization was the brainchild of two passionate young entrepreneurs and close friends, Shashwat Behl and Suhas Rao, who shared a common dream: to uplift the underprivileged and create a society built on opportunity, dignity, and equality.

The Beginning: A Vision Takes Root

The idea for NGO W.I.S.E began as a small initiative, driven by the belief that education and innovation could transform lives. Shashwat and Suhas, inspired by the challenges faced by marginalized communities, envisioned a platform where knowledge and compassion would come together to create real change. What started as a handful of workshops and awareness drives soon began to grow into a structured movement for social good.

Building Foundations (2013 – 2016)

In the early years, NGO W.I.S.E focused on grassroots projects—organizing workshops, science experiments, and educational programs for children in underserved communities. These activities not only sparked curiosity and creativity but also instilled confidence in young learners. The founders worked tirelessly, often with limited resources, but their determination to bring change laid the foundation for what NGO WISE would eventually become.

Expansion and Impact (2017 – 2020)

With growing recognition, NGO W.I.S.E expanded its initiatives to include skill development, women’s empowerment, healthcare awareness, and livelihood training. Collaborations with schools, local communities, and partner organizations enabled the team to reach a wider audience. This period also marked the establishment of sustainable programs designed to create long-term impact rather than temporary relief.
